LOVE – “This is real love–not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.”

1 John 4:10-12 (New Living Translation)

FAITH – “It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen and to be certain of things we do not yet see.”

Hebrews 11:1 (New Living Translation)

Bethel congratulates, Master Andre McKie-Young!

The Congregational Care Unit is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of one outstanding young man, Mr. Andre McKie-Young, a graduating Senior, Class of 2026. Andre is the son of our member, Ms. DeShawna McKie McCray. Andre has distinguished himself academically by ranking in the top 20 of his class, a testament to his dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence.

He has also received several notable honors, including:

  • Stole & Cord Awards
  • White Coat Recognition – Medical Biomedical Award
  • AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Achievement

The photos shared highlight significant moments in Andre’s journey. One captures him alongside Dr. Prince, Executive Director of Richland School District One—a reflection of the magnitude of this accomplishment.

Another features Andre with fellow young men proudly wearing their AVID stoles, symbolizing their shared commitment to academic success and leadership.

Please join us in congratulating Andre on these remarkable achievements. We are confident that God has great things ahead for him, and we celebrate the bright future before him.
